CHILD SPONSORSHIP
Stanley is a single orphan, after his father died 2 years ago. His mother struggles to survive by selling fish to pay expenses. She is inconsistent in paying school fees, resulting in Stanley being sent home from school. He was recently accepted to PBC, but needs your support to help cover the tuition, room and board, medical care, uniforms, school supplies, and examination fees.
- Half of the population in Uganda is 17 years old or younger. Of these, 25% don’t have access to education.
- Children are sent home when parents are unable to pay school fees.
- In their struggle for survival, many parents sacrifice educating their children in order to feed them.
- We may not be able to help every child, but we can make a tremendous difference in some.
Currently PBC has 31 students in need of financial support to help pay their school fees.
